I n this book, we’re going to talk about NASCAR winner Jimmie Johnson. So, let’s get right to it!
F rom a blue-collar background, Jimmie Johnson has risen to fame as a NASCAR driver and is considered to be one of the top drivers in NASCAR’s history. Starting with dirt bikes that he played with as a toddler, he showed an early aptitude for controlling vehicles at high speeds.

EARLY LIFE
B oth Jimmie’s parents drove vehicles for a living. His father Gary was a bulldozer operator and his mother, Cathy, was a school bus driver. Jimmie was their oldest son born in 1975 and Gary and Cathy raised Jimmie and his two brothers Jarit and Jessie in a middle-class home in San Diego.
J immie’s parents did everything possible to ensure that Jimmie and his brothers could pursue their passions. They made a lot of financial sacrifices to let Jimmie follow his interests in both surfing and racing.
